ESPIGA RUM is a Mexican rum that was born to accompany the great moments of life. Inside of every bottle, there is over 50 years of distilling tradition.
ORIGIN
Distilled and aged in La Huasteca Potosina, Mexico.
TASTING NOTES
Glass: a faint yellow color with transparent hues may be observed. Light, well attached, marked and unctuous legs.
Nose: an integrated and smooth alcoholic sensation accompanied by sweet aromas of tropical fruits, nutmeg, sugar cane, apricot and pepper.
Taste: a rum with a soft attack and light body; sweet flavor of molasses, almonds and an aftertaste of red plum, pepper, vanilla and nutmeg.
AGING
Aged for 8 months in selected American white oak barrels for uniformity and balance.
